Privacy Policy

Steady Flame is designed to be private by default. This page explains what that means.

The short version

Steady Flame does not collect your data. Everything you create in the app — your reflections, your intentions, your progress, and your settings — stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

What we collect

Nothing. Steady Flame has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers that receive your information. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. The app has no network features at all and works fully offline — try it in Airplane Mode.

Where your information lives

Your reflections, daily progress, chosen quality, framing preference, and reminder time are stored only in the app’s local database on your device. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it. We never receive a copy.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a single local notification on your device at the time you choose. This happens entirely on your device; no reminder information is sent anywhere. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Children

Steady Flame is rated 9+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Third parties

Steady Flame contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and sends nothing to any third-party service.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this page.

Support

Steady Flame works entirely offline and needs no account, so there is nothing to sign in to and no password to recover. If a day will not open, a reminder does not arrive, or anything else is not behaving, email shahisagar20@gmail.com and describe what you saw — a screenshot helps. Replies usually come within a few days.

One thing that is asked often. Missing a day costs you nothing — the app has no streaks; open it again and begin where you are.

Your practice is stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes it, and we have no copy to restore, so treat anything you want to keep as worth writing down elsewhere.
